"The first year after I moved to LA from Israel I forgot it was Rosh Hashana. That night I found myself at a sushi restaurant with an Australian and a British friend, and when they asked me what is that we were celebrating... Crickets. I had no idea. That never happened since."

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, actress, producer, writer and activist Noa Tishby made history with the sale of, “In Treatment” to HBO: the first Israeli television show to become an American series. Her U.S. acting credits include, “The Island,” “The Ghost of Girlfriends Past,” “Star Trek,” “Big Love,” “CSI,” “Dig” and “The Affair.”

She was recognized as one of the 50 Most Powerful Jews in the World and was on Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Power list of international executives. Her first book “Israel: a Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth”, is forthcoming on April 6th, 2021 from Free Press. She divides her time between Los Angeles and Tel Aviv and has a son, Ari.
